A HEART FOR ROBIN
American Heart Association Tribute Program
The Robin Harris Foundation
Robin Harris Jr. is a gifted musician, producer, and a creative talent in his own right. He has vowed to preserve the Legacy of his dad, the late comedian Robin Harris. Robin Harris is arguably one of the greatest comedians of all time. He is best known for his recurring comedy skit “BeBe Kids, We Don’t Die We Multiply”. On March 18, 1990, after performing for a sold-out crowd, Robin Harris passed away from a heart attack at the age of 36. Leaving behind his wife Exetta Harris and his unborn son Robin Harris Jr. Robin never got the chance to meet his dad.
In hopes of spreading the importance of an early heart screening, so another person doesn’t have to lose a loved one to this deadly disease. Robin has joined forces with Sam Watson, a long-time friend of his dad and celebrity fitness expert Bryan Clemens to create a healthy heart challenge called A Heart for Robin. Heart disease is the #1 and #4 cause of death in America and African Americans are 30 percent more likely to die from heart disease than any other race.
In addition to the healthy heart challenge, Robin is participating in the American Heart Association’s Tribute Program called A Heart for Robin. Please join him in raising awareness and critical funds to help the fight against heart disease.
